ABOUT US

Humane Classroom is dedicated to raising awareness about animal welfare in university veterinary and animal science programs. At the heart of our work is the belief that animals in our food system deserve adequate care and comfort. There is no better place than the university, where innovation and excellence go hand in hand, to teach the highest standards for animal husbandry.

We collaborate with experts in animal welfare as well as veterinary professionals and academic faculty to examine current practices and identify opportunities for change. In addition, we conduct outreach to students to provide resources, consultation, and engagement opportunities.
